Evelyn Taylor, surviving spouse of the Rev. Alva W. Taylor, died August 12. Private funeral services for the family were held at Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home followed by burial at Mansfield Memorial Park. Thelma Hawkins, surviving spouse of the Rev. Richard E. Hawkins, died December 1. A private family service was held at Woodlawn UMC on December 29, 2020. A public Celebration of Life will be planned when gathering is safe. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. W. Paul Brown.

Strong faith and commitment to the call of serving the Lord as a pulpit minister and evangelist. Develop and implement a discipleship ministry with new and returning students to prepare them for a lifetime of obedience to Jesus (often in one-on-one or small group settings). This is not to be a “solo” effort but involve various campus staff, student leaders, and adult volunteers to multiply ministry effectiveness. Attend and contribute to Broadway Leadership Team meetings, staff meetings, ministers’ meetings, and informal meetings with the elder and ministry leaders of the campus ministry. There are plenty of enthusiastic Bible Class teachers and our classes are full of wonderful young people. We have extremely active men and women’s ministries that meet regularly.

The successful candidate will be a servant hearted man who has a deep walk with the Lord, and who enjoys discipling new members and helping older members grow in their faith. • On a typical day, a Youth Minister starts by checking their email and voicemail to respond to time-sensitive messages from parents, community members, or church staff. They review their schedule to remind themselves of upcoming youth events and begin preparations. Responsibilities of preaching and teaching on Sunday morning and some Wednesday evenings.
A private graveside service will be held in Olive Cemetery in Caldwell, OH. Mrs. Roush is survived by her husband the Rev. Dean V. Roush, daughter Julie Cooper, son Stephen Roush, son Jonathan Roush, daughter Rebecca Roush, and seven grandchildren. Paul D. LaLonde, spouse of the Rev. Christina LaLonde, died January 14. Mrs. Garey was preceded in death by her husband the Rev. Doran Garey. She is survived by daughter Beth Barone and son Jay Garey. A private family gathering is currently being planned with a public outdoor celebration to be held after COVID restrictions are lifted.
Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting -huck.com. Rev. Victor Sharp served Vincent, Brook Park, Cleveland Broadway, Medina Shared Ministry, and Lodi UMCs. Mrs. Sharp is survived by son Marcus and daughter Sylvia.

Between 2000 and 2006, Pastor Wargo served Central Mansfield and Salem Sandusky in the East Ohio Conference. Virginia L. Carothers, surviving spouse of the Rev. Grant Carothers, died November 28, 2018. Services were held Friday, April 26, 2019 at Defenbaugh-Wise Schoedinger Funeral Home in Circleville, OH. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. George E. Lee.

Jeanne Garth, surviving spouse of the Rev. Lynn Garth, died October 11. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown, OH. Joan MarLett, surviving spouse of the Rev. Frank MarLett, died November 26. A private family service and entombment will be held at Sherwood Memorial Garden in Wooster, OH.
