I Miss You by blink-182

The lyrics sort of tell you that there's always a struggle before you get what you want. It's amazing the way the vocals are almost always perfectly suited to the lyrics. I was in love with a man, who was no good for me. I couldn't get enough of him.

will you come home and stop this pain tonight lyrics

I'd never been so addicted to anything in my life. This infatuation made me do things I would never do... My life became a nightmare. And even though his magnetism was the reason for my self destruction...

My InterpretationI've liked this song for awhile, I used to think of it as being about someone coming to terms with the death of their partner. A few months ago though I got a different feeling about it. I had a pretty bad break up, it was just out of nowhere and we always talked about how it was gonna be us forever. I turned this song on and it was like each lyric related to my emotions.

will you come home and stop this pain tonight lyrics

@Avlavin20 I just wanted to tell you I actually made an account to let you know how spot on you were with interpretation. Just made me cry of thinking about the whole story. General CommentI still cant wrap my head around the meaning of the hook. It made sense to me once.. But now I'm just as confused as I'll ever be. @flagpole_AZ I always thought the song was about the whole breakup thing.

ox of Stones – Benjamin Francis Leftwich

I expected doctors to run in, rushing me out. Instead, she looked me straight in the eyes, and whispered, "I don't know you, but I like your eyes." I believe this song is about a boy who's significant other has either left him or is becoming distant and not themselves anymore. The line 'Like indecision to call you. And hear your voice of treason.

"She woke up, she's fine, but I'm afraid she has long term memory loss." "Are you serious?" I almost shouted. "I'm afraid so." I didn't meet his gaze. I wasn't going to say anything, so he spoke again. "You can go see her if you want, but she doesn't remember anything, not even her mom." I walked in, trembling in horror. She looked helpless as she slept. I waited a few hours, until I saw her eyes opening gently again.

And hear your voice of treason- Here he is hesitant to call out the ghost just like when you feel someone is standing behind you and you don't want to turn around.

will you come home and stop this pain tonight lyrics

Or the one I like most is that he feels betrayed because of ther death. She betrayed him by dying and now again by not showing up to haunt him at night or in his dreams. General CommentShe's not dead!

He can't sleep thus he can't dream and have the dreams/nightmare in which she comes to visit him. He apologizes because he can't bring her back to him due to the insomnia. Like shes ruined him for other women. It's like saying the feel of the song is he is willing to wait around for this girl, he is stuck in love with someone who probably doesn't love him anymore... There aren't many songs with a scientist as the main character, but Coldplay's "The Scientist" is one of their biggest hits. The guy in the song is brilliant, but despondent because he's lost his girl after neglecting her for his work.

will you come home and stop this pain tonight lyrics

The video is cool to never thought id see the day blink would be in suites ha ha. Most people say that they think its saying that someone in the band had someone close to them die.I don't necessarily think someone died. Anyways nice to know I'm not the only one feeling like this. Anyways nice to know I'm the only one feeling like this.

Blink-182

This reminds him further that he is dead and she is not. The "voice of treason" means that she has moved on with her life and will not be his "Sally" anymore. He doesn't want this hollow friendship and tells her not to waste her time because all the loving things she said in the past were the only thing in his head. As the piano increases in speed he's panicking, coming to the realization this fake friendship is all she has to offer and his memories in his head are all he'll ever have. As it slows down again to echo the chorus its a bitter-sweet feeling, he is still heart broken over losing her but finds some peace in the memories he has in his head and his heart.

San Francisco to Join Bay Area Counties to Preemptively Adopt California's Regional Stay at Home Order in an Effort to Contain COVID-19 Surge Office of the Mayor

Removes the 200-person cap to allow religious and political activities to take place unrestricted as long as social distancing can be maintained. Hospital stays in the city have tripled in the past week and are currently well on their way to running out of hospital beds by December 26th. The new ordinance divides the state into five large regions, restricting those with ICU bed capacity of less than 15%.

Out of town visitors who are not essential workers or here for critical infrastructure support must stay in the hotel for the full amount of time required to quarantine. Real Estate viewings must take place virtually. The City will limit any outdoor gatherings to members of the same household up to 12 people.

Why did the City issue the Stay Home Public Health Order?

It is limited to up to 6 people total from up to two households at a table. Per State requirements, barriers between tables can no longer serve as an alternative to distancing tables 6 feet or more. Live entertainment is allowed except for singing or brass or wind instruments.

Essential businesses must put in place formal rules, a social distancing protocol, to ensure proper sanitation and to ensure that people stay a safe distance away from each other. Essential businesses like grocery stores, banks, and pharmacies can remain open but must stop running the parts of their operations that are not essential. Businesses that supply products needed for people to work from home are no longer essential businesses under the Order and must cease storefront sales to the public. Minimum basic operations and delivery directly to residences or businesses may continue.

How California’s new stay-at-home order affects your region

You are now allowed to gather outdoors only with members of your own household . For example, if you wanted to take your kids to a park for a picnic, that is allowed; but if you wanted to meet another family at a park for a picnic, it's not permitted. San Francisco announced Friday the drastic step to issue a stay-at-home order ahead of the state's timeline, triggering an onslaught of closures and stricter measures, beginning Sunday. Five other Bay Area jurisdictions — Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara and Marin counties and the city of Berkeley — made the same move and are introducing similar orders.

They extended the travel quarantine order in part to prevent a new, more contagious strain of the coronavirus being imported from other parts of the country into the city. The new strain, first identified in the United Kingdom, was found this week in San Diego County and Colorado and likely is circulating in other places, infectious disease experts said. All non-essential travel is restricted statewide. The order prohibits private gatherings of any size, closes sector operations except for critical infrastructure and retail, and requires 100% masking and physical distancing in all others. Meanwhile, two of California’s five designated regions dipped below their ICU capacity on Friday, and stay-at-home restrictions in the San Joaquin Valley and Southern California regions were set to start Sunday night.

You're now allowed to see 1 other person outside your household, San Francisco's updated stay-at-home order says

Since the beginning of the pandemic the standards board has voted on a series of months-long measures requiring varying degrees of preventative measures in workplaces, such as masking and social distancing, on an emergency basis. The new rules will take effect early next year after a legal review. Like previous standards, they cover all workplaces in California with the exception of some health care and other settings where a stricter standard for preventing the transmission of airborne diseases is in place. Most Bay Area restaurants will have to close their parklets and other outdoor dining setups by Sunday night. Outdoor family entertainment centers including skate parks, roller and ice skating rinks, batting cages, go kart racing and miniature golf must close. These include skate parks, roller and ice rinks, batting cages, go-kart races and miniature golf must be closed.

San Francisco’s Health Order is expected to be in effect through January 4, 2021. If, after a week of this order being in effect, the City’s indicators show a consistent reduction in case rates and hospitalizations for three additional weeks and ICU capacity is holding at 25% availability or more, San Francisco will lift this health order. In either scenario, once this order is lifted, San Francisco would be returned to the State’s blueprint tier system. San Francisco officials said Thursday that the city’s travel quarantine and stay-at-home orders will remain in place for at least two or three more weeks.

Instead of defunding the police we should defund the government; they’re killing us more than the police. Limited one-on-one personal training within gyms and fitness centers that was allowed indoors must stop, but may take place outdoors. The state may have allowed San Francisco and other Bay Area counties to exit the regional stay-at-home order as early as Jan. 8 if intensive care capacity improved, but the city isn't waiting for the state's direction it seems. There are exceptions for projects to help keep people safe and housed. Those include health care projects directly related to addressing the pandemic, construction to house the homeless, affordable housing, and multi-unit or mixed-use developments containing at least 10% income-restricted units.

The state reported more than 400 deaths for three consecutive days this week, including a record 570 on Thursday. All of California, except the sparsely populated northern region, is currently under state-mandated stay-at-home orders. The order for Greater Sacramento could be lifted as early as Friday, though that region fell under 15% ICU availability on Thursday, after more than week of reporting above that threshold. State officials said the Sacramento order likely would be extended. California and the Bay Area fared better than most of the country, even with this latest surge that has put unprecedented pressure on hospitals across the state.

San Francisco is currently averaging 142 new COVID-19 positive cases per day compared to the 34 per day that it averaged in late October. Moreover, the City currently has approximately 900 COVID-19 cases diagnosed per week and hospitalizations have tripled over the last month. As a result, the City’s hospital capacity will be under considerable stress.

Family entertainment such as skate parks, batting cages, miniature golf, kart racing, and laser tag or paintball may resume outdoor operations. Roller and ice skating rinks may operate at 25% capacity. In effect, a business will need to assign a specific staff person to monitor the number of people in the establishment and ensure that the 20% capacity threshold is maintained at all times.

San Francisco's update to its rules around gatherings came after the state changed its order to allow playgrounds to open. "Most COVID-19 infections are caused by people who have no symptoms of illness at all," the department said. "There is no way to tell whether a person you are interacting with has COVID-19. The only way to reduce transmission is to limit exposure. That means reducing people gathering with others as much as possible." Reservations from essential workers only accepted. Those that currently have in-person learning can continue. Elementary schools will be considered for in-person learning with waiver approval. This includes skate parks, roller and ice skating rinks, batting cages, go kart racing and miniature golf must close. The indefinite restrictions are worrying city business owners, who have already dealt with plenty of uncertainty in 2020.

San Francisco extends stay-at-home order through May amid coronavirus

If you have a question or comment about the coronavirus pandemic, submit yours via the form below or here. "To be blunt, we have one chance to turn this serious surge around and that chance is right now. But our window is narrowing and closing fast," said Colfax. "We were concerned that also messaging towards saying that you shouldn't have any contact with any social support system, you know, anybody outside of the household, having those types of messages we thought for our community, will be actually detrimental," Chan said. The other five Bay Area counties that joined the early stay-at-home order have not adopted the same update.

Employees of a business allowed to operate under the order can also access childcare programs that are allowed to operate. Coronavirus cases in the Bay Area have leveled off this week, though some of that may be due to reporting lags, with some counties providing sporadic updates over the holidays.

Indoor dining is already closed and all outdoor dining, including parklets, must be closed. Restaurants can remain open for delivery and take-away. "We do expect some lower-risk activities to be allowed to resume soon, but for the safety of you and those around you we must build on the progress we've made," Breed said in a tweet Monday announcing the order's extension. Sports with no to low contact — golf, tennis, pickle ball, and bocce ball — can continue outdoors, but must be limited to participants of the same household. These may operate outdoors only without competitions or spectators and with strict social-distancing and face-covering requirements in place. Service-oriented retail such as dog groomers, electronics repair services and shoe repair services can operate in a curbside drop-off context only.

The year-end totals of coronavirus cases and deaths painted a devastating portrait of the United States’ poorly handled battle with the pandemic. Roughly 20 million cases were reported nationwide, representing nearly a quarter of the global sum and totaling more than any other country. More than 345,000 Americans died of COVID-19 in 2020.

San Francisco and the other Bay Area Counties are opting into the Regional Stay at Home Order that Governor Newsom announced Thursday, December 3rd for regions with less than 15% capacity in ICU beds. Newsom announced a new regional stay-at-home order on Thursday to keep local healthcare systems from collapsing under the weight of skyrocketing COVID-19 case numbers. Previous restrictions were based on the county’s infection rates.

In addition the 10-day travel quarantine for people traveling outside the Bay Area has been extended indefinitely. Removes the 12-person cap on outdoor fitness so long as social distancing can be met, and increases the fitness class cap to 25. Members of up to 3 households with a maximum of 12 people total may gather outdoors if social distance can be maintained and no food or drink is being consumed. If food or drink is being consumed, only members from two households of up to 6 people total is allowed.

In fact, a company needs to assign a specific person on the staff to oversee the number of people in the facility. The stay-at-homes cause financial, physical & mental duress; they ruin people’s lives. To use them because the hospitals are getting full is bullshit. The people should be allowed to govern themselves instead of the government forcing these health orders on them. I’m 68 years old, but I don’t expect anyone to wear a mask, social distance or close their business on my account.

The city emphasized that while it's now allowing two friends to meet outdoors, the underlining message is to avoid gatherings as much as possible. Drive in John McLaren Park will be closed to vehicles 24 hours per day throughout the duration of San Francisco's stay-at-home order, according to a statement from the mayor's office. She said that the city does not want to relax restrictions too early in the event there's a spike in cases and even stricter restrictions on city residents are required. Residents will be required to stay home “as much as possible,” encouraged only to leave their homes for exercise, groceries, medical visits, and other essential business.

In addition, San Francisco will allow hotels to resume operations for tourism use, but San Francisco will maintain its mandatory local travel quarantine. The order would mean that bars, personal care services, movie theaters, indoor gyms, playgrounds, and hair salons/barber shops will temporarily close. Restaurants will be limited to just take-out and delivery — meaning no outdoor dining — and retail and grocery stores will be limited to 20 percent capacity. “Non-essential” statewide travel will be restricted. Outdoor operations for museums and zoos may resume, though zoos are capped at 50% capacity not including personnel. Concessions are allowed under the guidance of retail or outdoor dining according to the type of concessions.

sf stay at home order

The order will be lifted when a region’s ICU capacity is projected to meet or exceed 15% within four weeks. Counties in that region then will return to one of the four tiers in the state’s color-coded reopening system, based on their individual case rates and other key indicators. As cases surge and regional ICU bed availability continues to fall, San Francisco extends requirement that those traveling into San Francisco from outside of the Bay Area quarantine for 10 days and extends the local Stay Safer at Home order. Standalone grocery stores may operate at 50% customer capacity, not including personnel, up from 35%.
